Mazda Motor Europe has appointed Łukasz Paździor to the position of Managing Director Mazda Motor Poland, effective 1 October 2011. He replaces Masaharu Kondo who has taken up a new challenge as Director Product Communications, Public Relations, at Mazda Motor Europe (please see separate announcement from today).
Mr. Paździor is veteran of the automotive business. He joined Mazda in 2008 and, with Masaharu Kondo, founded Mazda’s national sales company (NSC) in Poland where he held the position of General Manager for Sales, Aftersales and Marketing. Prior to joining Mazda, Mr. Paździor worked for Skoda in Poland in various management positions. He is a graduate of Adam Mickewicz University in Poznan and speaks English fluently.
“Łukasz Paździor is the right man to lead our Polish NSC,” said Martin Benders, Vice President of Sales Operations at Mazda Motor Europe. “He helped pioneer our business there, and was instrumental in building up our dealer network by identifying strong partners that wanted to invest in the Mazda brand and its future potential. We are confident that he will continue to build the brand in this large and growing automotive market, as we begin to roll-out our new line-up of vehicles with SKYACTIV technologies starting next year.”
